About The RedRoom Sessions

Welcome to the The RedRoom sessions. These sessions are a series of very raw live videos recorded in our studio, RedRoom Recorders, in Tampa Florida.  These videos focus more on exceptional audio quality and are a simple visual representation of the artists’ performance.

The RedRoom Sessions are live performances -- no "Hollywood," no overdubs, no Auto Tune or Melodyne, no "polishing" -- just as it sounded in the room. We started The RedRoom sessions in January 2011 to showcase the talented musicians that pass through our recording studio.  We also wanted to feature some of the many gifted performers that we have encountered throughout the years we have been a part of the Tampa Bay area musical community.

We hope you will browse our collection of videos below and discover -- as we did -- some of the many hidden gems from these musicians. You can subscribe to our YouTube channel to receive future updates as we continue to showcase more great musicians and their songs.

For session 8 we bring you something special, Tampa Bay area trio Alias Julius. The first of three songs, "Good News" showcases AJ's strong vocals and guitar playing, Jimmy James on keyboards, and Jim Garrett on cajon. AJ brought a true Americana vibe into the RedRoom (and she wore some killer red boots!). We had a lot of fun working with AJ, we hope you enjoy this session.
